Critter Tails You Are Valuable is the book that launched Unique Time Designs. I wrote it in 2013 when suicide and bullying were on the rise. It is based on a true story about our pet Polish rooster Woodstock. He gave us eight wonderful years on our farm in Idaho. Woodstock accompanied me on many book readings and was the star of the show! Since then Critter Tails has sold over 10,000 copies.
My goal is to continue encouraging kids and adults alike about their value. Can you imagine if something as simple as a book about a chicken changed the mind of someone about to hurt themselves or hurting someone else! One of my favorite moments came from a story a friend relaid to me after giving a copy of my book away. She said shed purchased one to help a friend in Indianas son. As the mom was reading it to her son she began to cry. It was at that moment God spoke to her heart and reminded her of how special she was. To this day that story gives me chills because that is exactly why I wrote it! Regardless of who or where you are in life you can always be reminded of how special you are.

1- Pop Up Card: The Polishchicken on the inside is a custom rubber stamp I sketched purposely for the cards to accompany this book. I have these available in regular and Christmas. In the Christmas variety Woodstock has on a Santa hat. Each card contains watercolored items inside. Some cards have additional speckled watercolor spots on the outside.
