Mentoring is one of my favorite parts about sewing. It's very easy to get stuck mid design and then give up. I want to help you finish :)
This course is for beginners on up. Ages 6+. I will help you step by step create a one of a kind dress. Whether you are making one for yourself or to gift to a loved one. I use the "Frankenstine" method where each student designs their own creation. You are welcome to use all one fabric or multiple prints for your creation.
My inspirations come from trending brands like Matilda Jane, Giggle Moon and Mustard Pie. The more ruffles, pockets, bows, aprons the better.
This class is worked into your schedule and does not have a start/end date but rather a 4 hour time slot. I will happily help your child sew every piece or finish their dress if they begin to lose focus :) Participants will purchase their own fabric, but I will provide the machine, patterns and any sewing notions they may need. I will gladly help you select the right fabrics or give you a list and let you go from there. Previous dresses have been made from custom designed material, local quilt shops, online vendors and big chain fabric department stores. Your options are endless :)

I encourage students to work on their projects in between sessions. I am available every Thursday for any questions you may have.
